The Recurring Meeting Date Generator produces a whole series of future meeting dates spaced by a business-day interval, so no occurrence lands on a weekend or public holiday. Give it a start date, the number of occurrences, and the interval in business days, and it walks the series forward — skipping weekends and the holidays on your chosen calendar at every step.

A fixed calendar-day interval drifts: add ten calendar days repeatedly and roughly every third occurrence lands on a weekend, because ten is not a multiple of seven, and a public holiday in the run compounds the drift. Counting the interval in business days instead guarantees every meeting falls on a day people are working. The first occurrence is the start date itself, rolled forward to a working day if the start lands on a weekend or holiday, and each later date is counted as business days from the one before it.

The value is seeing the entire run at once rather than one recurrence at a time — clashes with a holiday week or a bunched-up stretch after a long weekend become visible before the invites go out. Set the workweek pattern and the holiday country to match the people who actually have to attend: those two settings are the only things that decide where each date in the run falls, and the generator has no separate field for company shutdown dates, so check the series by eye against any closure your own organisation observes.

Worked example

A project kicking off Wednesday July 1 with ten checkpoints five business days apart, on a Monday-to-Friday week with the US calendar selected, lands on July 1 — the start date is the first occurrence — then July 9, 16, 23, 30 and onward into August. The observed Independence Day holiday on Friday July 3 is what pushes the second checkpoint out to the 9th, and every date after it inherits that shift; clear the holiday calendar and the same run reads July 1, 8, 15, 22, 29. Either way every occurrence is a weekday, none dragged onto a weekend, whereas the same cadence set as a calendar-day "every 5 days" rule would have marched straight through them.
