Privacy
Redmoon Date Calculators runs entirely in your browser. Inputs you type into calculators are never sent to a server; calculations happen client-side.
What never leaves your browser
The dates, holiday selections and custom closures you type into any calculator are processed entirely on your device by JavaScript running in the page. They are not transmitted, not logged and not stored on any server — there is no account, no saved history and nothing for us to hand over or lose. If you close the tab, the inputs are gone.
What we do collect
- Theme and consent preference — stored in localStorage on your device only, never transmitted. This is what remembers your light/dark choice and whether you accepted analytics and advertising cookies, so we do not ask again on every page.
- Feedback you submit — the message, and your email address if you choose to
give one, plus the page URL, your browser's user-agent string and your IP address. These go
to Redmoon's mail relay (
api.redmoon-utils.com) for delivery to our support inbox. The URL and user-agent help us reproduce a reported bug; the IP address is used to rate-limit abuse of the form. We use all of it only to read and reply. - Analytics — only if you accept. We use Google Analytics 4 to count page views and see which calculators are used. It is loaded with Google Consent Mode set to denied by default, so no analytics cookie is written and no measurement occurs until you press Accept on the banner. Decline, or simply ignore it, and none is collected.
Advertising
This site is free to use and is funded by advertising served through Google AdSense. That means a third-party vendor — Google — may serve ads here, and Google and its partners use cookies and similar technologies to do so.
- Nothing you type is used for advertising. The dates, holiday selections and custom closures you enter stay on your device and are never available to any ad system.
- Advertising storage is denied until you accept. The AdSense tag loads under Google Consent Mode v2 with ad_storage, ad_user_data and ad_personalization all set to denied by default. Until you press Accept on the banner, ads are served non-personalised and no advertising cookie is written.
- Declining still leaves the site fully usable. You will still see ads, but they will be non-personalised — chosen from the page's content rather than from any profile of you.
- Third-party cookies. Where you have accepted, Google and its partners may use cookies (including the DoubleClick cookie) to serve ads based on your prior visits to this and other sites.
You can opt out of personalised advertising at Google Ads Settings, or opt out of a third-party vendor's use of cookies for personalised advertising at aboutads.info. Google's own explanation of how it uses data from sites that use its services is at policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites.
Changing your mind
Clearing this site's data in your browser removes the stored consent and theme preferences, and the consent banner will appear again on your next visit so you can choose differently. Analytics you previously allowed can also be blocked at any time by your browser's tracking protection or an extension — the calculators are unaffected either way, because none of them depend on it.
Your rights
You can ask us what feedback we hold from you, ask for a copy of it, or ask us to delete it — email us and we will action it. Because feedback is delivered to an inbox rather than a database, deletion means removing the message from that inbox. We have no other record of you to erase.
